What is the “calorie burn”?

The word “calorie burn” means that how many calorie we lose after doing physical exercise (running, walking etc) in relation to how many calorie we consume.

If we are not doing physical exercise then all calorie that we consume is stored as fat and makes us obese.

Many people think that the more they run, more they burn their calories and lose their body weight. We can burn 9 kcal a minute if we run at a normal pace. A person whose body weight 200 pound can burn 300 kcal/ mile and whose body weight is 140 pound can burn 80 kcal /mile.

To achieve this goal we should consume low calorie (only the amount that our body needs) and should do physical exercise. To lose body weight and to maintain it, diet and physical activities have a strong effect.

4 weeks to run 1.5mile- burn 40 kcal calorie.

3 weeks to run 40 minutes running habit- burn 30 kcal calorie.

4 weeks run 2 miles- burn 80 kcal calorie.

Things one should know about calorie burned running

We can definitely lose our body weight by running. It depends on speed of our running and our body weight. But to lose weight we should not run very fast in primary stage, especially for a heart patient. When we are running, to burn our calorie we should aware that we have to consume a balance diet, otherwise we become weak, because we burn our calorie and do not supply the amount that our body needs.

A healthy person who has ideal body weight can also run to maintain the body weight. If we don’t want to follow a schedule, we have to keep it as a challenge because we cannot be able to lose body weight by running once a week. Our first and foremost duty is to keep ourselves active every day. Since we are leading busy lives, we cannot take the time to do physical exercise, on that ground we can walk at least 3 times in a week.
